About Susan D. Cook

Susan grew up in the Greater London/Surrey area. According to her mother, she taught herself to read (she was too young to remember), and has been avidly reading and writing ever since. She even made it formal with a degree in English Literature. She always said she’d never marry anyone from another country or move abroad – and then married an American mathematician. After many years in the US, they have moved to work on the edge of the Mediterranean in Slovenia (she calls it the first stage of their retirement), but her UK base is now Dorset where she spends time relaxing and researching (which is the same thing to her).
